Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

3.9 GPA, research experience, Americorps, community service, leadership, work experience as SLPA, clinical experience at another grad school. It was my dream school. Not sure what else I could have done.

Weight listed for online cohort via email. Accepted at NYU. Not sure what to do.

Congrats to those who got in!! It was a reach for me. For those of you applying in the future, here are my stats to help you plan: GPA 3.98, GRE 157V, 161Q, 4AWA. Experiences with 3 research, 1 TA, leadership and campus involvement, raising three children, one with ASD. Pretty good PS. Rec letters from one academic professor, one clinical research director, one special education teacher in school.

Online program. Avg GRE scores-V 149, Q 141, AW 4.0. GPA in field 4.0, overall 3.4. It is possible with average scores so don't get discouraged! Will not be accepting because I already accepted my top school :) Congrats to everyone accepted!

I was noticed via email that a decision was posted to the portal and was able to access the acceptance letter there. My cumulative GPA was 3.75 and my major GPA (CSD) was 3.85. The program actually starts summer 2021, not spring but there was no summer option

So relieved. This is the lowest ranked school I applied to, and while I got into some great programs, I will likely end up at NCCU due to cost and job prospects for my partner.

Relevant work experience; various volunteer and leadership roles as well. 3.81 CDS GPA, 3.78 overall. Strong LORs from UO faculty as this is my current undergrad program. Very grateful to have been accepted!

Out of state. Out of field. (I did a post-bacc) CSD GPA 3.9. trilingual. worked in ABA for about 5 years. shadowed a ton of SLPs and worked in a speech clinic as behavior support. mainly experience with pediatrics. no research. I interviewed on 2/24.
