Ignore status, anyone heard from this program after interviews?

Email says they have identified candidates they are inviting to an open house but asked if I was still interested in remaining in their applicant pool as they consider me a "strong candidate". Sort of an informal waitlist

Has anyone heard back from BU's Clinical Psych Program about interviews or admissions decisions?

Received an email from department about acceptance. Had a portal update shortly after.

No email, just checked the portal and saw the rejection letter. Very disappointed as I got a pretty positive response from the Head of the Department. But she has told me that they do not have funds for international students, so I guess! UGHHH hate it because my application was very strong

Woke up to an email that was sent at midnight, stating to check the portal for status update. Checked portal and status update had rejection letter. Anticipated this. Did not get an interview. 5 applications sent out; 3 rejections; 2 admissions

Interviewed on 02/10, still awaiting decision. Does anyone know if they've sent out the rest of the acceptances?

I had my interview yesterday -- the folks who interviewed me were incredible. They made me even more excited about the program. Interview was 20 minutes which felt very quick! Questions were straightforward, but they make sure that you know what you're talking about! I felt like I was in the hot seat a few times but it just showed how much they care about their program and the communities they work closely with.

A total bummer. I was really hoping for an interview at least. I really thought I was a strong applicant, but I guess I wasn't a good fit for their cohort. For future applicants: be sure to be VERY strong in all four categories of readiness: academic, multicultural, interpersonal, and professional. Attend the information session they hold a few months before the deadline. Similar to most programs these days, they do not offer feedback so knowing where you went "wrong" will be difficult.
