Graduate School Admission Results

I recognize that Tennessee is not a top 50 program, but my area of study fits very well with the faculty, and it is a school I've always dreamed of attending. It would also give me the opportunity to be close to my family again. All you geniuses who got accepted or will be accepted to better schools or who are not highly considering Tennessee, let this be your sign to remove yourself from the waitlist or acceptance list! It would be instrumental in my life. I do wish everyone the best of luck and that they would find good fits and further philosophical inquiry for the next generation!

Has anyone heard back from biochemistry and molecular biology? Radio silence and I applied over 2 months ago

Ignore status, looking for suggestions on the better decision between UC Berkeley and Stanford if the advisors are more or less similarly relevant and amazing. In terms of location, department, vibe of campus and avenues it opens up in future? TIA

I emailed to ask them what the status was since I saw many updates here. They said that the notifications (I assume rejections) will go out in a few weeks but that I was not offered admission. The DGS was very sweet and appreciative so it doesn't hurt that much.

Two first author publications, 3 total, 20+ citations, goldwater, REU + visiting scholar, multiple conferences, T100+ university w/ dual major, no GRE, had interview with caltech.
