Economics Graduate School Admission Results

To the poster below.... 28K funding for general MA stream? Am i missing something... the PhD stream students get around 21k...

Accepted off the wait-list. 21k for five years.

TPB: Where did you guys see the decisions? From oneLink or applyweb?

No funding though, might as well as been a rejection.

I received their admission in early March but they did not give me the first-year funding, and only promise the tuition waive after passing the qualified exam.

Letter sent on Feb24.

Conditional admission: have to finish my Bachelor degree with 1.3 or better (out of 5.0, where 1.0 is the max). Bachelor: Economics and Business Administration, Goethe University, Germany. Good luck for everyone waiting!!!

Apparently I was waitlisted, then rejected. I'll be going to a similarly ranked program, though it would have been really nice to have heard something from them a month ago. Kind of rude. But I guess they've been pretty busy with other PR things lately...

Has anyone on the wait list heard anything ?

TPB: I received the email from Erich M. I had been in contact with him about my application for a few months and finally got the offer. I will reject it. The original deadline to accept was April 15th, but I got it extended to April 17th. He told me they make choices off the waitlist primarily based on the specialization distribution of the class (e.g. if they get a lot of macro people, they would be more likely to offer a micro person to balance it out). Full tuition + $27,000 stipend

Unofficial email, placed on "priority" wait list, "hope to make offers to some on the wait list". GPA is grad.

Don't bother calling about your application, guys. They will not tell you anything at all.

Full Tuition + Minimum level of support of $29,000 for each year + Fellowship of $7,000 for the first four years.
