Recent Graduate Admission Results May 2014
Political Science, University of Connecticut Was intially accepted with no funding on 03/13. Did not respond by 04/15, since I already recieved a full funding offer from a higher ranking school. Got an email a month later, with a funds. Still declined.

Political Science, McMaster I'm still waiting to hear from this program too. I emailed the admissions director back in late March/early April and they said that the process of second round admissions would be happening in late April/early May. That was the last I heard, though.

Political Science, University Of British Columbia (UBC) Was on the waitlist for about two months, told today there was unfortunately no space for more than 1-2 Political Theory intakes. Email from the graduate chair was very kind and encouraged me to apply next year (I've already accepted elsewhere, but nice gesture). He sounded truly disappointed they couldn't take more students - even went so far as to let me know I could contact him for advice and connections in the future. Not disappointed because I am already going to a great program, but disappointed I won't get to work with such kind, caring faculty!
