Political Science Graduate School Admission Results

the EUI "decided that the quality of your project and your qualifications are sufficient, but there is insufficient supervision capacity for the project in the department". So for those of you still waiting, they might still be trying to figure out the departmental math of supervisor fits etc :)

The UIUC waitlist is my last hope. However, since it's almost the deadline, I think I should give up. I have been tortured in this waiting game for MONTHS!!!

Has anyone heard from GW for MA admissions this cycle? (Did not receive interview, just selected a result at random to make this post)

4.0 MA GPA, fully funded, Canadian student.

International application - waiting to hear from the department. I can see domestic students have results, hang in there my fellow internationals!

Accepted to Political Science. Undergraduate from University of Edinburgh in History. Low GPA at undergraduate (2.9). 3 years working at US Embassy London and 4 strong person references from high school, embassy and Edinburgh university. Grades do not surpass life and work experience, bear this in mind. Education can be taught, life and work experiences less so. Admitted from the waitlist, but I had removed myself from the waitlist several days ago, so I just declined the offer.

Officially admitted with a full scholarship (1300 EUR/month). Will accept later this week.

I was told that they were not to use the waitlist this year. So I'm off the waitlist and rejected.

Anyone heard anything back?

Ignore w. Guys, seriously, there must be something going on with this department. It has been a while since they decided on Canadian applicants. What can take them so long?

(gpa is masters) Email to check portal. This was the last decision I was waiting on, and jeez they sure took their time. This completes the admissions season for me. 2a/7r/0w Today I accepted Michigan's offer in the World/IR track (just hours before the NYU notification came). Looking forward to seeing some of you in Ann Arbor!

Ignore waitlist. I saw some Political Science activity a few weeks ago. I emailed Holly (political science coordinator) on Monday enquiring about decision notification date and she informed me Political Science will hear back by Friday 9th. I also sent a generic email to GSAS admissions office and they informed me 'they could not give an exact date'. From this, it seems best to contact a specific person within the department for information. This probably applies to all departments. I hope this helps someone. Good luck everyone!

TTPB: did they notify any one of you guys about who your advisor will be? And asides from communication from the DGS, did any faculty reach out?
