Email saying not recommended for admission, but referred to apply to several other programs for no extra application fee.

ignore wl. Have any one heard from Courant CS around 15th? I have no clue so far

Finally!!!!! Applied by priority deadline and did not hear back. I was disappointed because I thought my poor GPA would hold me back. 3 research papers and strong LoRs from well regarded professors. Ivy Bound!

Subject: PhD Decision Dear Applicant, The admission committee evaluated each applicant record carefully including the university you graduated from, your GPA, GRE, TOEFL scores, recommendation letters, and other submitted material. Unfortunately, your overall record does not satisfy our admission standard. Recieved an impolite rej letter. No thank, no sign-off. They do not even tell me who they are and I finally find it from the sender's address. I paid 200 dollars for the application fee and shipping of official transcripts, which are required for the reviewing process. They don't care about applicants and don't know how to respect others. Go suck it

Finally rejected from waitlist. Rest in peace Ivy League dreams. UIUC, here I come!

Admit for MS CS at NYU Courant

My last rec letter author submitted hers January 26th. Heard back soon thereafter and was also offered TAship funding. Recently made my decision for UD.
