One first place at undergraduate poster conference, a lot of research exp., I think rejected bc my interests didn't match the faculty's

Received an e-mail from POI on 12/21/17 saying I had been admitted. We spoke on the phone 12/22/17 and POI invited me to a prospective students weekend in February

Very excited, as this has been my top choice! Already accepted the offer.

Interview date February 10. Must be multiple days.

I would say that it is probably true for the clinical psychology department too because they are both part of the curry school. The entire university is closed on friday, but I dont know how each department is handling/scheduling breaks internally. :-)

Received an email stating, "I am sorry to inform you that your application for graduate study in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh was not approved. We are able to admit less than five percent of the over 500 people who apply each year. Since we must choose from among many qualified applicants, the selection process is very competitive. Often we are not able to extend offers of admission to excellent candidates because their research interests do not match those of the faculty, or because a given faculty member is not taking new students, or because sufficient funding is not available. We appreciate your interest in our department, and we wish you well in achieving your career goals."

Email from program coordinator and phone call from POI!!

PsyD. Rejected after interview. Offered admission into MA program, will not be attending.

PsyD. At my interview I was told I was informally accepted and should expect a formal acceptance in about two weeks. Yay!

Emailed to find out the status of the app. Received rejection in response.

Anyone else got an email from this program to set up an interview? I just got an email and they invited me to Skype interview. So nervous....

General email from the Graduate Administrative Office. Dates are 1/27 or 2/3.

I was wondering if anyone else hasn't heard back yet as well?
