I haven't heard a single thing, I have multiple offers from a lot better schools with significant funding packages, I don't know why I haven't received anything yet? This school is my "Backup" school. I will reject this offer anyways but I am wondering did they just scam me for my application money lol? |

Domestic student from a top Canadian Uni. GPA in the last two years is above 3.9. Major GPA (Math) is 3.84. My first rejection of the year. A little shocked as I got fully funded offers with TAships from the other three top Canadian departments. May very well be that the application for UBC is more competitive, with more international applicants aiming at a Top 20 ish PhD program and a less stringent domestic student quota compared to the one in Ontario. Anyway good luck to you guys still wating for a decision. Cheers! |
