Canadian applicant. Had already found a PI prior to applying. Was specially admitted to the Winter 2023 semester. 1 research internship, 2 industry internships including 1 at a Fortune 500 company, 1 part-time job for the Canadian army. No publications.

Also got a rejection in MS in Applied Data Science

Interviewed for a RA position in the lab but was not selected because my current research background is not the same as their current research projects. But still my application in waitlisted

Undergraduate in CS from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. Best grades and first to graduate among those enrolled in my year. I held a junior researcher position in the university for 4 months in a field unrelated to the major I chose. Good recommendations, can't say about the motivation letter. No publications at the time, no internships, no GRE.

Ignore waitlist. Is there anybody who is waiting for the decision? I haven't got any email and yousc portal decisions. I wonder if there are more applicants who are waiting for admission.

crazy enough. I received the email today. That's ridiculous... I signed my leash already and received their offer. Will go.

You can see my profile somewhere below comments as a waitlist candidate. But one piece of advice would be, that this school totally depends on Professor's intention.

Noting unexpected here but about time, I guess.

Student from a good spanish university (UPM). Average of 8.54/10, 60 ECTS with honours and 8 months of experience in a research lab at the moment of the application. 7.5/9 IELTS. No GRE. Good LoRs and strong SoP.
