emailed PI, replied "The admissions committee informed us that they have made an initial set of offers. I know that they have also made an initial set of rejections, so if you haven't heard anything from them, you're somewhere on the wait list. Unfortunately, we may not know whether we can make any more offers until people start turning down their current offers, which is usually not until April. " field - astro if anybody has better offers or is not planning to attend rutgers, pls let them know, this is my only hope now after being rejected from everywhere else. QD

I am on the waitlist after the interview in early Feb. Astrophysics. 2 years of research exp. No pubs but 2nd author paper was submitted.

Condensed matter experiment. No interview. 2 preprints in theoretical/computational CMP at the time of application submission. No GRE. Mail to check portal.

REU in hep-th (phenomenology) and two semesters hep-ex research in the SULI program (full-time) after graduation. Admitted to their master's program last year, but couldn't afford it. Ignore waitlist. Has Johns Hopkins sent out all acceptances, especially in CME? From previous stats, I can see that they send quite a few acceptances during early February and wait till early March to give the rejections. Congrats to those who got in.

To those stony brook physics applicant, if you didn't hear back from stony brook in the end of Feb, you basically has been rejected, I am a Fall 21 applicant and I inquired several times with their graduate director, they initially keep saying they still make offers and was considering my application, however until Mid-March I got the rejection email… anyway good luck to your application all!
