Interview Feb 1-5

@poster below: I applied for ECON+CS. I had my interview yesterday, but the prof said he wanted to sort out his preferences by the end of this week. That is, this is unusual and other faculty members will contact students in january.

To the poster below who got the Harvard interview: what research areas are you applying for? Did anyone else hear within a week after the deadline?

1 Paper published, 1 paper to be submitted, undergraduate research fellowships

4 fellowships, 1 publication, 6 presentations, summa cum laude, 2 prestigious research awards, NSF GRFP applicant, multiple honor societies.

No pubs, a little under 2 years of research experience, 1 conference, multiple smaller presentations, awards for research from undergrad institution, PI is Harvard alum

Interviews on Monday, February 1- Friday, February 5th 2021

No pubs

emailed the coordinator about interviews and received the following: "My understanding is that all applicants who were selected to interview have been contacted at this point. The Graduate School will send official notices in the Spring." My stats: 3.2 undergrad, 4.0 thesis-based MS, no GRE, 2 first authors, 5 overall publications, 5 years of research experience (all virology related), work experience: academic and research; university and public health

No GRE, 3.87 GPA, no publications, ~3 years of research, multiple poster presentations
