Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

Took them long enough. Had no communication with them since they said they were reviewing applications back in February. 2-year program.

I was accepted off the waitlist! Committed right away! Very excited to attend this program in the fall.

Does anybody know of a Group me for students accepted?!

I originally interviewed with them early February, and then never heard anything back. I finally emailed them this past Friday and they responded today. I'm number 10 on a waitlist of 30, and the deadline for the first 15 recommendations is tomorrow. We'll see! I know I've seen a few other people on here say they hadn't heard anything from Hawaii either.

Received an email today stating that they haven't heard from 1/4 of their candidates and we probably won't know until after 4/15 :/ Please decline the offer if you've accepted into somewhere else!

FINALLY got a generic email stating I've been put on the waitlist. "You've probably been wondering about our decision regarding your application". Not surprised as this seems to happen every year, and was expecting this result since I hadn't heard yet. Just think it's a little rude they don't let students know until the day before decision day.

NOT A WAITLIST.... Has anyone heard back from USF for the Suncoast program? The decision date keeps getting pushed back when I email them so I was curious if this is happening to anyone else.

Second time applying. Waitlisted - This time around I have experience as a SLPA for about a year. Crossing my fingers this year is my year >.< Also waitlisted at CSULB.

For everyone reading these new recent comments about how the current cohort is just moaning and groaning because of COVID that is a joke in itself.. We have professors that just decide to cancel a class for 2 months and never teach us anything about TBI's so when we entered our clinical placements we look like idiots. They so quietly mention that you may have to drive up to 2 hours for placement and they will talk to you beforehand.. that is not the case.. and if you don't accept it you are "unprofessional" and "disrespectful". They do not care about anything but your money and they are setting you up for malpractice.. I am unsure who is suggesting otherwise but I genuinely hope you can see and point out the flaws in this program because otherwise you are naive and that is concerning. Please go somewhere else I am trying to help those the way I wish someone helped me.

Removed my name from the waitlist for the online program, just accepted an offer to another program. Hope this helps someone out!

TTPB: I agree, it is very unprofessional! I submitted my application before Christmas. Received an email in February that my application was under review and never heard back since. I know they sent interview notices in March because my friend was invited. Acceptances have already been distributed.
