Physics Graduate School Admission Results

I have been waitlisted from Georgetown and this is the second time I am applying. If you have better offers, please decline.

I just got the news that I'm on the waiting list, I appreciate it if people who have better offers than OSU decline asap please. (Additional info: my area is CMT, I have a master's and one publication.)

I think I am on the waitlist for Vtech. I am hoping to work with Chun Jun Cao for my PhD. If you have better offers at hand, please reject Vtech, as this would be my only chance to study quantum information theory and quantum gravity. I want to study these things with the utmost passion, and as of now, Vtech is my only option.

Please let the department know if you have other plans and offers. This is my only wait-list so far in my second cycle and probably my only chance at going to grad school.

Plasma Physics, 3 years of experimental plasma physics as an undergraduate research assistant, no publication, one conference presentation, no internships, and two very strong letters of rec.

Was in contact with a potential PI, he was interested in having me, in contact with his lab members as well. Generic rejection.

Has any of you heard any news? They only said I am on waitlist. Also I want to know about University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Do they send any offers?

A little bit surprised I was contacted by a prof who is not my POI. Have a quick chat focusing on my previous project experience and research interests today. Subfield: CMP

I was accepted to the PhD as well, and I had an unofficial acceptance to the masters three weeks ago, so it's not surprising. Offer letters should be up in the portal now!
