I also got an invitation to the virtual open house. It says: "The USC Department of Economics has identified you as a very promising applicant for the PhD in Economics program". Does this mean anything at all in terms of admission to the program?

Got the same mail. Also don't have anny idea. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I received an email saying I was waitlised yesterday, but just received an email that a decision was uploaded to my portal. I logged in and it still says "Awaiting Decision." Did anyone else get this?
