Got an email notification to check my portal for an update, and it said I was waitlisted. Not really sure what this means, since they said back in January (after the interviews) that they were gonna review the applications again in late March and let me know if I was in or not? So like, not sure if that means they did the second application review already, or if this email is something else and they haven't done that extra review yet. Either way, seems pretty slim for me to get accepted, but I just wanna know yes or no at this point lol

Applied to Computer Vision / Robotics. 4.22/4.30 GPA, 3 publications (1 in CV and 2 in unrelated). Suspect it was not great fit & not great SOP. Live and learn.

Worked as an RA at Harvard in a different department. Honestly don't know what they're expectations are at this point...

Expected but still stings a little

Interview with Prof. Hima Lakkaraju that went well, but turns out she decided not to take any PhD students so well tough luck.

Got an email to check the portal (classic for a rejection). I knew it because acceptances were sent on 12/13 February, so "as expected." Usually, they send rejections 10 days later, but this time they took 3-4 days more. Anyways, best of luck to those accepted!

Received a mail to check the portal. Computer Science undergrad with multiple ML papers in International Conferences. 3.9 GPA, 2+ years experience as a software developer in FAANG.
