Got my Bachelors from a German University. Had a 3 month internship and a 3 month thesis project at a research company in Germany. No GRE. Arizonan resident. Got told that I must complete 1 extra undergraduate course before the end of the first academic year. Any questions please post it in the comment.

UG 3.2, MS 3.9, both from outside US. 6 patents, 2 first author publications, 2 conference presentations. 4 yrs experience as CTO of my own startup in related field. Was interviewed in 1st week of January and got acceptance in 1st week of February.

$4500 total scholarship amount

Two papers in the Journal of Thin-Walled Structures (one open-access without charge), TOEFL iBT: 105, 4 years of work experience (3 years in industry +1 year as a teacher), 3 strong LORs, various software and programming languages, and myriad academic projects; GPA is for master. I wish all the best for admitted applicants.

Interviewed with PI mentioned in SOP, accepted about a week later. 2 years industry experience, undergrad research but no publications, specific/niche PhD research interest. Did not take GRE.

Mechanical undergrad from top NIT. 1 year of work ex in EV's, 1 year full time research assistant in autonomous vehicles, 2 part time research assistantships and 1 international internship. 1 conference publication and 2 journals ( 1 published,1 under review )

Had an interview with professor of admission committee, 30 minutes long. Got an mail to check portal.

Have multiple publications from undergrad in journals and conferences. Have 1 year work experience and 6 months of research experience at a renowned institute in India.
