Congrats to those accepted! If you are considering rejecting or accepting your offer at UCR for another program, I would be very grateful if you do it earlier today rather than later. I'd love to be at this school (as I'm sure you might be feeling the same way!) and would be so thankful to get closure. Cheers!

To the person below, are you going to accept the offer from Miami? Do you think there is a chance you will decline it because you have (potentially) some better offers to come. In other words, are you on other waitlists that you rank higher than Miami?

To anyone who plans to accept another offer: I would be really really grateful if you'd decline this one or withdraw from the WL soon. I know that making such a decision requires a lot of careful deliberation, so I understand why some of you might be hesitant to do it just yet. However, I've been told that the waitlist for SFU has been moving relatively slow this year — which causes a lot of anxiety for those of us still in limbo (especially the ones for whom this place is the only option). I wish all of you the best of luck!

Why are waitlists not moving? Will we all only hear back on April 15th at 11:58pm? This process is so cruel. And you know why? It's because people are not letting go of multiple offers, and prefer to make everyone else suffer. Well, I'm glad you guys have done so well, but I also hope you suffer sometime later in your life too.

Undergraduate major GPA: 3.7, Graduate GPA: 4.0 (MA, Philosophy) Accepted off the waitlist. I'm still waiting on one more possibility.

Though Prof. Nathan told me by email that I had only 'very slim chance' to be admitted, official waitlist was given. If you have worries to decide whether to go there, please do me a kind to decline it, for I really need this offer to get formal training in analytic philosophy. You must have a better place to go!
