Rejected from program but accepted to the interdisciplinary studies masters program which I didn't apply to so not sure what that means.

Avg GPA, lots of research experience, great LORs. Expected this result though.

I was awarded a recruitment scholarship weeks ago before being accepted, but I submitted my supervisor confirmation on the 17th, and was accepted the next day.

Waitlisted for funding.

General rejection email, after interview on 2/12

1 first author conference, 2 good LORs (did research with these two for at least half a year, and both had high opinions of me), I admit that I didn't have as much experience as others shooting for Stanford though. :/ Gotta start early on and keep consistently working at research in order to be competitive nowadays.
