Waitlisted-- this is my top choice. If you know you are not attending, I would really appreciate declining when you can!!

Ignore status. Has anyone been rejected by this department? Please comment, I would really like to know if I can expect an instant rejection or a second-round acceptance/waitlist.

email from Mark Schroeder, it's an unranked waitlist, they make 15 initial offers with the aim of enrolling about 8, could likely end up declining even if I get off the waitlist. 2a/2w/4r

7a/3w/11r. Email from DGS. Don't know why I deserve this—I probably don't. Got rejected from every place two years in a row.

SFU is the only option for me. And if I don't get off the waitlist, I will have to stop studying philosophy for financial reasons. I really don't want to do that. If you don't plan to attend SFU and got accepted, please decline your offer.

Emailed the DGS because I hadn't heard anything despite others receiving decisions. Is any intending to decline their offer?
