You will not be considered for any additional degree programs for the Fall 2024 term.

Applied fall 2024 but got admission offer in spring 2025 due to limited size of MS class

After thorough review, I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission at this time. Each application is considered in relation to other applications in the same area and only the very top applicants are admitted. Your application file was considered in detail by the faculty in Creative Writing. While they were impressed with the potential demonstrated through your application, the number of qualified applicants far exceeded the number of students we are able to enroll. The admissions committee in Creative Writing recommends that you consider reapplying to the program for the next available entry term. We truly appreciate the time and effort you put into your application. While I realize this is not the outcome for which you had hoped, I wish you the best toward attaining your goals.

This was for the M.Eng. I am an American citizen. Got accepted to Berkeley so I don't really mind.

Ignore status: I'm wondering if anyone plans to reject their offer, as I'm currently on the waitlist and interested. With the deadline approaching, I'm hoping to be able to make a final decision soon.

Notified this morning that I was accepted off of the waitlist!

I was looking for a chance to switch my career I really didn't have much credits in the area of study but I do have a bachelor's degree in CS from 10 years ago.
