UC Berkeley has the lowest administration efficiency among all the universities I've studied in and applied for. Totally shit. They should have updated the results no later than Apr.15th.

Did anyone receive any notifications from UC Berkeley?

Checked decision on AIS. Received email from department 1 week later. Asked to contact faculty to secure research advisor

Rejected even with a potential supervisor. IDK why.

Accepted by two top tier universities in the US, and rejected by both Canadian universities that I applied to (UoT and McGill,) who btw, took too long to reply. I even contacted the professor beforehand and he personally checked my application. For any future applicants, take a look at this year's results down below and judge for yourself. Bottom line, if you're not Canadian, don't bother applying to these schools.

Would someone got admitted be willing to share their experience, such as how long after the official admission letter did they receive notification about funding and supervisor?Is funding guaranteed for PhD in UCLA Mechanical Engineering?
