GPA masters- bummed

Very kind email, but I won't be accepting. Just got admitted to my first choice, University of Washington! 1a/1w/1r/2p

So stoked!!! UW is my top choice. Definitely going after I finish up my MA at MSU. Language and Rhetoric track. 1a/1r/1w/2p

This is my dream program and I am so happy even being on the waitlist. I don't have an MA. Language & Rhetoric track.

MA GPA 4.0. Stung a little, but got into programs that were higher on my list anyway. Guess the fit just wasn't right.

I thought for sure when I saw the acceptance two weeks ago I was rejected, but I guess the delay was a result of them sending me the acceptance letter by post! I did not know that programs even send acceptances through the mail anymore.

No GRE. Got notified today with a very kind acceptance letter.

GPA is MA. Text from my waitlist email: "We have completed our initial review of all applications, and I'm writing to say that you are currently wait-listed for funding. As we do not admit graduate students without an assistantship, unless they request otherwise, and we have only a limited amount of funding available, we have to adopt this interim strategy. It may take several weeks before we know anything more, but do feel free to contact us thereafter."
