No notification at all, happened to check website and said not accepted and there was a generic letter to download.

E-mail with interview options: 2/24, 2/25, 3/3, and 3/4.

Just got selected for an interview. Very excited. I hope this sticks!

Finally got off the waitlist today! Top choice, so excited!

I too got this same "personalized" message: "While your credentials are good to excellent, the faculty interests and curricula available in our department do not match those suggested in your research goals and would therefore be a poor fit for you and for us." At least knowing others got this same message makes me feel a bit better, as I was confused why I was such a poor fit. :-/
