We hope you will gain acceptance to a graduate program that meets your needs, and we wish you the best.rnrnThe message is completely the same as the message sent last year. They did not even change the data “12%”. I feel that MIT Physics Department is very impolite and arrogant during the admission process.

anyone heard from UBC physics? they seem to have an open house on March 4-5.

Applied for AMO Exp. Low PGRE and no pubs but strong letters from well known profs, including a Harvard prof. 3 years of AMO exp at home institution (top 25) and 1 summer of BEC exp at Harvard. Was a little surprised, thought my strong research/connections could beat my PGRE. Was waitlisted at MIT and accepted to CU Boulder at least. Congrats to others who got in, and good luck to those waitlisted!

Checked website. Expected. Not too upset about it.

Lots of research and strong letters but no publications. Thought I had a decent chance.

Has anyone that was accepted received any information about funding? I remember them saying it would be sent out no later than March 1 but I haven't heard anything else.

I got it yesterday. I think, no need to say "please decline if you do not want to go there or have better acceptance." but I will say it again-as everyone else would say on wait list- please do the thing in quotation=)

Not only are they still sending acceptances, but also rejections, too! Great! 6 down, 3 more to go. Maybe I can go 0/9 again this year!
