Grad student called to extend an invitation to interview weekend 2/6, official email to come later in the week

Received email from POI for a phone interview

I've been wait listed and haven't heard anything! Has anyone heard from USD?

Generic e-mail saying all interview invites have been extended

Social with grad students on 02/15, interview all day on 02/16

waitlisted with alternate rank #3. I'm hopeful!

"Interview invitations for Fall 2018 admission were sent via email to all selected applicants on December 20th, 3:00PM Pacific Standard Time. Applicants not receiving an invitation are unlikely to advance in the admissions process, but all applications remain open until final decisions are made and applicants notified."

Was waitlisted until today. Received a call asking if I was still interested and then an offer of acceptance via email shortly after! Very, very excited!!

To the poster who asked if s/he should retake the GRE to improve eligibility: 1. Most schools post the average scores of those admitted. You can access this information in their website, or Google average scores for PhD candidates in C.P. 2. Your scores honestly seem high enough. I would not focus on this aspect of your application.
