Hi folks! if you get an offer (Congrats!!) and decide to go somewhere better, could you please decline this offer as soon as possible? I feel I am dying, and this might be my last chance to do a PhD. Thanks a lot for your help!!!

No Surprise as I had already assumed rejection due to acceptances going out earlier this month. Personally reached out to the program to check application status so that I can clean up my list of pending applications.

Political Science department really wants me but I was rejected without my application being consulted by the deptartment. The chair is trying to resolve this for me. The reason cited I was rejected was "not a good fit and no supervisors" but I actually have two people willing to co-supervise me and one researches what I want to. Will update once this mess is sorted out. Treating it as a waitlist until I get more clarification.
