Really bummed and tired of this whole process. 0a/4r/1w/3p

Really nice email stating that I was awarded an assistantship which includes full tuition and stipend. Excited about the faculty here!!

I received an email stating my applicant portal had been updated. I logged in to see I had been rejected. Luckily I got accepted to the program I wanted most already, but the rejections still hurt! Good luck to everyone! 1a/1w/2r/5p

Got an email to check my status and on the portal there was a 3 sentence letter telling me I wasn't accepted. Not broken up since I already got into my top choice 1a/2r/3p

Ignore the Interview status, but I'm assuming if I haven't heard anything by now, it's a rejection?

The admissions counselor was super friendly and kind. Had a virtual meeting today so I could get a feel for the school. Not a lot of funding, but that seems more like a budget thing than a me thing. Looks like I can't apply for assistantships until at least the summer. I think I would be happy at Brandeis, if I can afford to go.

Got an email from DGS saying that my application was impressive enough for a waitlist, but not enough for an outright acceptance. Not having fun anymore and reevaluating pursuing grad school 1a/1w/5r/3p

IGNORE INTERVIEW - Has anyone received any news? The website says the virtual open house for prospective English graduate students is today, so I guess it's safe to assume it's a rejection? :(

Ignore Interview. I wrote to the Grad coordinator asking for an update, she mentioned that the committee is still making decisions, and she does not have any information beyond that. Hope this helps for those waiting!
