Unofficial email from CS department. It said a more formal offer letter is coming from Grad School.

3 Professors expressed interest in my proposal. They enthusiastically asked me to apply. What is the point of speaking to potential supervisors if it has no role to play in admitting students.

I got an unofficial acceptance email, with TA assistantship, stipend, and a one-time Chancellor's award.

GPA is from my double master's/ 3 publications, 1 forthcoming/ 14 conference presentations/ multiple research experience and fellowships/ not surprised as my dissertation is historical in nature

Ignore the status. Is the previous acceptance post real? Was it by email? Because I didn't get anything yet.

GPA is from MA in anthro from another school. Arch track. Received an email with a link to view a status change in the application portal. I only exchanged a few short emails with my proposed PI before applying (supposedly they weren't available to meet in the fall), so I am actually kind of surprised that I was even waitlisted. The message from the grad chair in the portal included the following phrase, "We hope that being waitlisted does not inconvenience you" which I found a bit funny. 1w/1a/1r/5p

Phonetics and Phonology. Had four separate interviews. Still waiting for the results
