Honestly surprised but very honored! Will be declining as I have another offer I will be accepting.

Email was sent to my junk folder so thank god I checked. Said I didn't make it through their first round, but they're "highly interested" and would put me in the second pool, letting me know on April 20. So, I have definitely declined. Hope this helps someone on the waitlist, and honestly, godspeed waiting that long for a decision.

Replying to the person who said, "On the portal under 'admissions status', in the 'comments' section does anyone else see a number?": If you're referring to the number 1 in the left column I see that too. I think it's just the number of the comment which is empty (in the right column) on my screen.

No letter yet, but I just checked the portal and it says unconditional admission.

To the poster below: I was accepted to the summers only program with a 3.59 overall GPA, 3.75 Com Dis GPA, GRE scores were 152-verbal 150-quantitative and 4.0 essay. I volunteered for 1 year with patients with Aphasia, worked for 1 year as a speech aide, and 1 year as a SLPA.

Good gpa. Not good GRE scores. Have good amount of experiences and worked hard on personal statement and essays.

Was not expecting this. So excited!!

I am in shock, this is my dream school. If anyone has any tips or even can explain what the interview will be like, it would be so appreciated. Good luck to everyone in this stressful time. It's taken me years to get to this point.

I was first notified of program acceptance by letter in early March, pending graduate committee approval. Just received official acceptance by email. I'm beyond excited to be heading to the bayou, and to be an LSU TIGER!! :-D
