I am so heartbroken because a prof at Columbia told me I have a really good shot at making it. Perhaps that conversation raised my hopes too much. My dream school. :'(

DGS emailed me and let me know that I was on the waitlist. He could not give me more specific details about the waitlist but I am really excited about this.

I received an email from a professor who studies similar research as me. She congratulated me and expressed that the university is very excited and hopeful that I will accept the offer. Has anyone else gotten this type of personal email for acceptance? I really am leaning toward UCSD and if they are personally this interested in me I might just got ahead and accept. So excited and grateful!!

Accepted via email. Two years, full-funding and nice email for department. Excited for the offer. Most likely turning it down.

American with masters from Germany. GPA is MA. First official rejection.

I got an email directing me to the website. No word on funding yet.
