English Lit, Oregon State University Not even an email from the department. Abysmal admissions procedures to make rejected applicants wait several weeks before notifying them. Would be cautious to enroll in such an unprofessional, irresponsible program. To applicants: if there are results in late February and you're not one of them, you have probably been rejected and the department is just too lazy to notify you. GREAT program otherwise though!

English, University of Toronto Did my undergrad here, turned down their MA offer last year. The department is so-so (really depends on your subfield), but Toronto is truly a fantastic city. I'm more upset by the fact that I don't have an excuse to move back there than by the rejection itself.
