To the posters who recently got rejected from NYU, would you mind sharing your intended fields of research? I'm applying for CMT and still haven't heard back from them. Thanks!

TTPB: they sent out offers in Jan and few more in early Feb, and mass wave of rejections this week with masters offer. And they just ignore me totally and dont even waste time on sending me a rejection. Maybe im not good enough for their masters program,

Indian with Low GRE scores, GPA - 6.84/10, One strong letter from an emeritus prof, 1 publication. Awarded Regent's fellowship! Already have an offer from Princeton.

First acceptance. Fellowship TBD, took GRE twice and sent both scores: second time was (Q163/V158/AW4.5). Currently doing masters at prestigious university.

CME. 1 first author publication, presentable test scores (>= 90th percentile for all sections), and at least 1 very strong LOR from my research supervisor. Really happy with this offer and probably will attend the Open House. Best wishes guys.
