Didn't get an email but checked my portal to see that I was accepted! Undergrad GPA 3.1, GRE Quant 150, Verbal 150, Writing 4.5. Lots of undergrad research, volunteering, internships, extracurriculars.

"The SLP admissions committee at UMass Amherst has made their first round of admissions decisions. While we were not able to offer you admission to our program at this time, you also have not been denied and your file remains under consideration. Please note that files remaining under consideration have not been ranked."

I just heard back today. I have been put on the waiting list. I know it's better than being rejected, but I really wanted to get into this school. For the ones who were accepted but will not be attending, PLEASE try your best to notify the department. You will make my dreams come true!! Thank you!

I have not yet heard from SIUC either. I’m guessing they send out their decisions in waves? If you hear anything, please post on here! I’m so anxious

Well I'm glad that we are all communicative of this- I really thought I was denied already. But it also seems like they've been late to the game before, so hang in there everyone...also I will post my results as soon as I get them! Hopefully it's positive :)

Got an acceptance to CSUF’s open house/informal interview! Wasn’t expecting it after invites went out last week and I didn’t get one then! 3.97 overall and CSD GPA, out of field applicant.

My third acceptance, but I will be rejecting this offer to attend somewhere in-state. I hope this frees up a spot for someone!

Honestly, kind of surprised that I got rejected. Oh well, I had already accepted an offer from a more competitive program. Hopefully others will start to hear back soon too!

Email was sent to my NIU email, and not my primary email. Applied late so I am not surprised I was wait listed.
