Received an email from the DGS with the offer. No interview.

Received news I was accepted on feb.1 after a ten minute interview. Interview questions were simple and straightforward, get-to-know-you vibe. Spoke with faculty member in the fall about my interest in their program over zoom; I think that helped. Awaiting funding info---their funding does not appear to be very promising so I'm worried about that. But elated nonetheless about being accepted!

3.9 MSW GPA, no interview, did not submit GRE scores

Very excited about this program so, if accepted and don't intend to enroll, please notify the dept :). I was notified of my waitlisting through an email saying that my status had changed and to go to Rice's app portal. There I found a very kind message written by a faculty member indicating I was high on the waitlist.

Well.... I thought we had a great conversation during the interview. Congratulations to the applicants who got in, yay.

Curt, fine rejection. Not an ideal match. I had trouble submitting the application on time so this could've been a factor.

Interviewed today with a faculty member. Questions were thorough. For future applicants: be prepared to discuss past research, theoretical ambitions, and other academic minutia alongside typical interview stuff.

HDLT program. Just received the email from the dean. Apparently they tried to call me in the afternoon. This is my top choice and I couldn't be happier! Stay strong everyone!

Unofficial offer from PI. Applied to CMT. Major in CS + Physics. No paper. 1 REU + 1 home institution summer scholarship (ongoing). 2 years of part-time tutoring on campus.
