Graduate School Admission Results

BS 3.46, MS 3.56 from Applied Mathematics. They provided me application fee waiver by evaluating my profile. Unfortunately, got rejected. I am now a hopeless!

Hurts to pay $135 to get rejected, but I'm accepting elsewhere so meh. 3a/1w/1r/3p

No GRE, applied for the nutrition concentration. So excited!

Email to check portal. Really bummed since a professor convinced me to apply over the course of a conference last summer to work with her.

I received an email about a status update and to check my portal. The rejection message was within the portal. "Thank you for applying for graduate study at the University of California, Berkeley. After a holistic and comprehensive review of all your application materials, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission at this time. The UC Berkeley campus has a strict enrollment ceiling, and we are thus very limited in the number of new students we may admit each year. The admissions committee in the program you applied to had the difficult task of selecting students with the strongest overall records from a large pool of well-qualified applicants. Unfortunately, this may result in not being able to accept many applicants who are capable or have the potential of excellent academic work. We are sorry we do not have a place for you in this year's class."

Did not get in 😔 Got an email at 11pm that falsely told me results were available but they were available until 6am this morning. Major bummer. I'm trying to transfer from my computational linguistics master's program into something fully funded. At least I can scrape together tuition and fall back on that
