International student with undergrad degree from the US. 2 publications (one outside of CS, one for a data science workshop), 2 years of undergrad AI research, 2.5 years of work experience as a software/machine learning engineer. Received an email to check portal, where there was a status update (rejection).

Tough break. Not sure what aspect I was underqualified in. Good luck to everybody else.

3r/1p/0a Rejected from the three top Canadian schools UBC, Waterloo, and UofT. I must write the GRE to prove my intelligence to these guys. I will put 10 projects on my CV and see their response then.

Took them an eternity to just send a rejection.

No Mail as of now. I checked the portal, and a Rejection was Waiting! Finally, After more than 4 effing Months. Thank you UBC!
