GPA Is From Masters. Got a rejection email. Expected I wasn't a good fit so not too sad but definitely would've liked to get in.

Canadian Citizen. Received an email that the Admissions Committee has accepted my application and that the offer letter will be posted on the portal within a week. Subfield: Canadian Politics and Public Policy. I hold a MPA degree (4.1/4.3 GPA) and have short articles (non-peer reviewed) published. Strong reference letters as well.

MS GPA: 4.0 (from a US university)

I emailed my POI and they kindly let me know.

Ignore interview, just to warn future international applicants: I received an admission without funding, so I'll have to pay for out-of-state tuition of $30,000 yearly and won't have opportunity to teach at all. The DGS said there was no funding for international students. Was wondering why they bothered to give me an admission. I haven't got an acceptance yet but I replied that at least I need a tuition waiver to even consider this admission. I wonder whether the department really wants me or does not care.
