I am anxious all the time. Why have they kept us on hold?

"Bulk rejections" is a regular Monday at the MIT admissions office lol. I was never too hopeful but I find it a bit cruel that they're waiting until sometime in March to send me that rejection.

ttpb: I know one guy from a uni in the US who got in. He is an Indian. But I am still hopeful.

I understand that they never send any admits in march but I literally don't see even 1 international SM admit on gradcafe or yocket.

By when can we expect decisions for the master's in ME program?

Bulk rejections are impending. You will be rejected unless someone happens to decline an offer soon and you happen to be at the top of the list of remaining applicants without a decision. Unfortunately, there isn't enough space for every qualified applicant to be admitted. It is what it is.

ttpb: Some friends got rejections from India. It's March, do they even send SM admits in March or is it just bulk rejections?

I guess we should embrace rejections now. They seem to never release acceptance in March.

Contacted my POI. He said that he has taken interviews with 10 students. I am on the list of the next 10 students. He will consider me for next spring. undergrad CGPA:3.77/4, No pub

TTPB: Bro, get a life. Stop spamming this guy on every social media. I have noticed your multiple hate posts on this guy which explains that you had a really bad experience. But spreading news like this is a bad method, as a third person does not know who's fault it is in the first place. If you got balls, go take an action against him legally which is when applicants will really understand the issue and believe your words. Till then, everyone will treat you as some insecure spammer

Offered half time TAship (No prior contact). International undergrad student (GPA: 3.8/4.0) with US MS degree (GPA: 4.0/4.0). Two good journals (IF >7 and >6). Couple of conference presentations.
