So excited! Program looks really great and really enjoyed the interview process - all the faculty and current students were nice and fun. Can't wait to join in the fall!

Ignore interview. Anyone know what's going on with UW? Looks like a couple of people got in in January/early Feb, but I'm not sure if these were more personalized notifications from PIs.

Though accepted into an Ivy League, I am highly unsatisfied with the administrative and application processing of UW. I won't even recommend anyone applying here, especially for international students! Rejected from this program and molecular engineering and sciences.

Accepted off the waitlist after 3 weeks. Accepting the offer.

hated this season. 3 yrs of research in relevant area, 2 pubs plus several grad classes. Looks like it is my fault for being an international.

Got admitted into multiple top 10 physics schools and Ivies so not really upset, but it really goes to show that this entire process is really hit or miss, especially for international students.

AWARE WHEN YOU APPLY University of Washington!! Please apply for matriculated.(NOT NON-MATRICULATED) I talked to the staff of representative of Physics department because I applied non-matriculated. I wanted to get refund that I applied and called UW physics department. Graduate staff told me that I would get a refund for applying wrong section. But, she processed by giving this letter. I think regardless of the result I think UW physics department staff are lazy and irresponsible who just want to get some money. WHAT A SHAME!!!!!!!
