The admissions committee evaluates carefully all applications to our graduate program, including your application. We receive over 1,000 applications for admission each year for a very much smaller number of graduate student positions in our program, and therefore are unable to admit many well qualified applicants. I wish you success in pursuing your interests in physics.

Checked portal and saw update. Generic rejection letter saying they received over 1000 applications. AMO/QI fields of interest.

Ignore Waitlist. Has anyone heard from the program at all? I saw somewhere that it may be mid-March into early April, but I just want to check again for any news.

hep-ph/th. I emailed them and they said I am on the waitlist and they do not extend any offers to the waitlist until the end of March.

They say that the results would be ready by late March. Today, April 4th I received a rejection letter. As an international aplicant, it seems like a scam to me.
