Ignore WL. Has anyone heard from Daniels at UT for the PhD program?

High GPA, two+ years of work experience with residential and public projects, BAS from Carleton, great references, have had international and national architectural research publications and public speakings and recognitions, clear thesis outline that matches what UofT does, got rejected only to know other ppl without architectural background have reserved seats too and some got in! tough competition! Good luck everyone!

Second time applying, rejected again... Canadian student with B.Sci undergrad in Architecture, 3.53 GPA, 4 years of professional working experience in the field (90% completed NCARB hours). Took an additional year off to revise my portfolio and essays. Received 3 other offers (Waterloo, Pratt, and Michigan) with $$ and currently on waitlist at another. Won't be taking a third try at Daniels.. Very surprised and let down..

Anyone heard of the first round of acceptance? And what's the deadline for accepting the offer? Any clue of by when the waitlisted candidates shall hear about the decision?

Canadian non-arch applicant from UofT undergrad. Email to check portal. Pretty bummed, but not devastated. Received acceptance to Carleton last week!!

TTPB: UofT - PhD already sent out offers for students last week. From my talk with adcom, they only accept a maximum of 5 people ((2)HTC/(1)Computation/(1)BuildingScience/health/(1)Landscape) or (0) people if they dont like anyone in a stream. This year was very competitive, most # of talented applicants they have seen, but same amount of openings. Maybe you can still get a waitlist notification or already got an offer from another school. I wish you the best of luck, I know how stressful PhD applications are!

Anyone heard regarding acceptance/rejection?

Got accepted from an art school with a 7k scholarship (hard to call a one-time payment "funding" lmaooo) .

Received 8k entrance admission award for first year. UofT has other graduate admission awards for MArch as shown on their websites, has anyone received any of them other than the entrance one?

worked on my application for nearly a year, and it still wasn't what they were looking for. will try again next year.
