It s true that USC is following CG to admit for Masters. It is really a stupid thing.One of my friend joined last Fall is regretting for selecting USC.Large sized classes ,many international students from unrecigonized universities were admitted due to high CGPA without good knowledge. He says batch standards are going down due this policy

Finally received a notification... rejected for MS Comp Sci but accepted for MS Cyber Security Engineering. Will be attending in Fall 2017! I also applied previously for MS Comp Sci (Scientists & Engineers) for Spring 2017 but was rejected. I have BS Computer Engineering with 7 years work experience in software engineering in semiconductor & defense industry. Seems like my low undergrad GPA is what kept me from getting admitted into MS Comp Sci. I will consider doing MS Comp Sci as a second masters in the future.
