To the USC Software Engineering poster below: Congratulations on getting in! It's a great program and I'm really glad you made it! I applied for the same program as well. I have done a few related projects but I don't have any publications... I'm still waiting for a reply from them and my portal says that my decision is still pending. You're probably the 1st admit into this program that I came across on grad cafe. So, could you please elaborate on your profile? Also, if you have any info regarding notifications pleaseeee share it over here because this uni is my only hope!! Thanks in advance man... and good luck!

Got the same acceptance email with 30.5k + insurance funding info and an invitation to dinner on 10th March and 11th March. Asked me 1) to notify of my interest so that they can make an official offer if still interested 2) availability for the open house event Since I'm a foreign student without currently holding a US visa, will ask them to make an official offer and decline the invitation.

Studied engineering in state school. Spent last 3+ years working in a software company (but wasn't doing programming work). Submitted one letter of recommendation. USC sent me an email telling me to check the you.usc.edu site and there I saw the Acceptance letter!
