I received an email from the student academic advisor with invitation to interviews on Jan 19 and 20

Decent gpa from top public school. 2 yrs of research at 3 different labs, strong letters, 1 manuscript in revision

Good GPA, 4 years of research, top 10 school, no GRE. Took a year off after undergrad

No GRE, no pubs, 3.5 years research experience

The last submit is for 2021 Spring, not 2020 Spring.

Has anyone who deferred their enrollment to Spring 2021 received their formal notification of the decision by email (for Spring 2021)? I was accepted into the Summer 2020 program, but I chose the option to defer to Spring 2021. I submitted my term update request in which USC replied, "your decision for Spring 2021, which will remain the same as for Summer 2020, will be issued by July 17th." I have not received this email. I tried emailing them on July 24th, but I haven't heard anything back. Is anyone in the same situation?

Anyone still waiting on a decision for MS CS?

Still waiting for a decision for the general program. We already know but this is seriously a joke ...

To the Fall 2020 waitlisted/admitted students. Couple of days back someone was asking whether they have any email ids of the Viterbi dean. I don't have his id but I do have the assistant dean id. Please note times are very difficult and I do understand the kind of unfair treatment the waitlisted students received, so that future applicants won't face what we faced. Though I totally agree being silent won't help you any further. We have to raise our voice to the kind of treatment we received. Pandemic is not the reason to deserve such kind of bs. Send well formed and logical emails keeping our pride and addressing the issues faced as an applicant as humanly as possible.

Submitted my application on 14 Dec and just received my results. What was all this wait for?

Anyone else still waiting?? Or anyone else who got accepted recently?

5yrs worked as a software engineer, 2yrs data engineer, 4+ yrs AI startup founder (backed by VCs), current CTO at AI/Blockchain startup, BS in CS from outside, MS in SE from California (GPA 3.7), one journal author, recommendations from a current data scientist at Amazon, Google. SOP focused on data visualization. I already got admission from my top choice and taking the summer courses. Nonetheless, USC was too long to give me the rejection.

I applied in the month of January in the first week, it took almost 6 months for the decision to come. But I am happy at the same moment too. I believe in my University more, and I hope they will take better care of me than what USC did so far.

Is there any waitlisted admitted student planning to take the semester online this fall. I am stuck in the decision making.

What Rubbish! It took them this long to reject!! Used to think it's a good university but after this have lost all respect. On the other hand there are universities which are replying to my queries daily about the changing situation there. Good for me !
