They sucks... ever miniature department. only 7 international students and 3 American students.... huh!

Reeeeeejected! Did anyone who was accepted actually accept their offer? I haven't heard one of those yet.

They only take international students, it's true. Rejected. Thanks for wasting my time and giving false hopes to American students across the country. To the two U.S. students who get in, luck you.

Yea, I went to the campus visit awhile ago. It was back in February I think. Although I hate the institution now, I do not hate those accepted ahead of me. Congrats to you all, whether you get this message or not. (if you haven't heard from them, contact grad. admissions and they'll let you know)

On Friday I emailed them and told them I've decided to NOT attend U of R, so I freed up some space for those of you who I think might be on the waitlist. Good luck! :)

I had my interview on 7th March. Got a mail on 14th March that I was recommended for admission. I have a full tuition waiver and a generous stipend.

Received a mail from one of their PhD students. Anybody else who got an admit for CS PhD from Univ of Rochester?

The guy who got accepted at UofRochester: Did they take phone interview??Did they offer aid?? why notification from their PhD students???

As I know, all admitted students are supported in Rochester. I was interviewed but still not see a decision. I assume a rejection. Bless all.

Yes.. you are right.. but I think they interviewed only their local students or students having US degree.. last time one of my friend got accepted but they didn't take his interview.. may be they will response by 11-April...good luck!!

UoR almost only takes international students anyways. So to the American students out there, don't get your hopes up. The Americans will be competing for one of 3 slots, while the internationals tend to get the other 7.
