I had already accepted another offer!

end of american dreams

heard back 3 days after the visit weekend; also offered a fellowship; accepted offer. Yay!

was told offers sent, if anyone declines, there is a chance. so ... expecting someone would kindly decline early.

Got invitation to the visitors' weekend March 4-5. I heard from a friend that there will be many interviews over the two days.

Couldn't care less

I emailed them to ask the result of my application and they send this back: Thank you for your continued interst in our PhD program. We have made the majority of our offers and have already taken in 11 of those perspectives. We are admitting only 12 students this year. The chance of your receiving an offer at this late date is quite low.

Please decline your offer if you don't want to go there. I really appreciate your help.

Finally.

Anyone who got an accepted admit from UoR CS PhD and is considering joining some other school pls let them know asap :D I so badly wish to join this school for some personal reasons.

Anybody who got an admit for CS PhD from Univ of Rochester?

I called the Department of Computer Science and got the reply. "If you didn't receive any response from us, your chance to be admitted is very low, because most of our assistantships have been allocated." Good Luck, Everyone
