The graduate co-ordinator sent me someone else's rejection letter. I don't know whether I am rejected or not? I asked her back but haven't received any response yet.

At last, they woke up from hibernation. Already had offers from better universities. The post I saw about this department in gradcafe was very much shocking to me. I think this rejection is good! :D

Ignore last post, name didn't fill correctly. Finally heard back via email from the grad coordinator; not too bummed, better offers elsewhere. Glad I don't have to spend the effort considering them in the next two days.

Interested in doing Quantum Information. No interview, may have contacted potential PI but did not hear back. Have two research experiences and one TA experience. 1 part-time research experience with a professor in my department for 1 year. And 1 full-time paid RA experience for a college outside of the U.S. for three months. I don't have any speical experiences that make me stand out from other applicants. I am grateful that Pittsburgh gives me this opportunity to pursue higher education.

Ignore waitlisted; any idea when Pittsburgh has its open house?

Ignore waitlist. Has anyone received an official email or anything? I'm talking to one of the faculty I'm interested in working with, and they are saying that I was accepted 10+ days ago. Checked my spam and the app portal and saw nothing.
