First program that I heard back so far! Such a relief! A little bit of scholarship.

TTPB: The admissions officer said the acceptance rate last year was a little under 10%

Did anyone hear from upenn's ms in data science program and any idea when the decisions are likely to be out ?

To the poster below, in the official website of the program it is mentioned that results will be available within 4-6 weeks after the application deadline. The deadline was March 15th. According to this timeline, i think you can expect result from mid-April onwards. Though, someone in the forum has posted recently their results for MS-CS program.

Got an email to check the application portal, and received the rejection letter in the portal. But I'm thankful that they notified me before April 15th.

No research papers. Quite a few ML projects, few self initiated ones. TOEFL - 116. 16 months work ex. Masters Thesis on ML

I had faith in this one honestly, I suppose the applicant pool this year is quite competitive. I have a bachelor in economics from Universidad del Rosario (Bogotá, Colombia) GPA: 4.41/5.00 (3.89 converted to the US system according to WES). 3 yrs of work experience, 1 as data analysis consultant at UNDP, 1 as Big Data Projects' Coordinator at a government agency in Colombia and 1 as Data Scientist at an American Fintech company. Also, I have teaching experience in the field as well as 3 publications. GRE: Q:163, V:154, AWA: 4.0. The best of luck for the ones that were admitted.
