Reached out by a professor not listed in my SOP, interviewed in Nov. I just received an open house invitation and this admission before the open house starts. I have no idea because the PI that offers me funding has no coherent with me

I applied for the direct PhD program from Canada as an international student, got an oral acceptance from a PI after a one-hour interview with him. Good luck everyone!
